Center for Hartford Engagement and Research (CHER)

CHER works to strengthen partnerships between Hartford’s diverse communities and Trinity students, staff, and faculty. Learn more about partnering with a course through Community Learning, service initiatives in the Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement, the HMTCA-Trinity College Partnership, research with community partners in the Liberal Arts Action Lab, and community gathering space at Trinfo.Café.

Cinestudio

Cinestudio is a not-for-profit independent film theater located at Summit Street and College Terrace on the campus of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. The theater is a magnificent single-screen venue with over 450 seats, reconstructed as classic 1930’s-style movie house, including a much loved balcony and golden curtain.

Visit one of our two on-campus coffee shops – Peter B’s Espresso, located in the library, or The Underground, located on the lower level of Mather Hall. Join us in the summer for the long-standing tradition of concerts in the beautiful Chapel and on the Main Quad featuring Trinity’s 49-bell carillon.

Trinfo.Café

Trinfo.Café is a neighborhood gathering space, cyber café, and community garden. Trinfo provides computer literacy training for Hartford youth, adults, small businesses, and non-profits. Trinfo also hosts a VITA tax clinic each year.
