Summer Music Series

The Carillon Recital Series has been a Hartford tradition since 1949, featuring national and international guest artists. The audience is invited to enjoy the music of the 49-bell Plumb Memorial Carillon, one of approximately 200 such instruments in North America.

Film Festivals at Cinestudio

Cinestudio is a not-for-profit independent film theater located at Summit Street and College Terrace on the campus of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. The theater is a magnificent single-screen venue with over 450 seats, reconstructed as classic 1930’s-style movie house, including a much loved balcony and golden curtain. Cinestudio hosts various film festivals annually, including April in Paris, OutFilmCT (June), and Trinity Film Festival.

Trinity International Hip Hop Festival

The Trinity International Hip Hop Festival is a free music festival that brings together Hip Hop artists from around the world. Organized by students with advising from faculty, staff, and community partners, the festival has been hosted on campus & around Hartford since 2006.

Halloween on Vernon Street

A student-run event through the Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement, Halloween on Vernon Street welcomes children from the Hartford community to campus each year in October. Keep up with CHER on Instagram for this year’s date!

Lessons and Carols at the Trinity College Chapel

The annual Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols includes a reading of nine biblical passages, each followed by the singing of a carol recounting the Christmas story. This service welcomes those of all faiths to experience this moment of comfort and hope.
