Wifi

Laptops, desktops, IPads and phones:

Gaming consoles, TVs, and other devices:

  • Network: Trin_IoT (Trinity Internet of Things)
  • NOTE Personal routers, wireless bridges, and personal wireless printers are not supported on our network.
  • Connecting without any registration will provide you with Internet access (most TVs, gaming and streaming devices only require Internet access)
  • If your device is required to be on the same network as your laptop and/or phone, you will need to register its MAC address

For help connecting to wifi, contact the Library & IT Desk.

Tips and Security

  • Before you connect your personal computer or other device to Trinity’s network, please be certain it is up-to-date with the latest virus protection updates and operating system patches.
  • If the device’s operating system is no longer supported by the manufacturer (they are no longer providing security updates for your OS and your device cannot upgrade to a newer OS) you may not be allowed to connect it to the campus network

Visitors

eduroam

  • If you’re from an institution that is an eduroam member, you can connect to eduroam at Trinity automatically

TrinGuest

  • Available to all visitors
  • Connect to TrinGuest and if prompted check the box to accept Terms of Use to connect
  • NOTE: once you have connected a device to eduroam, you will not be able to connect it to TrinGuest (we want the device on the most secure network possible, which is eduroam)
