FortiClient VPN for Mobile Devices

Please note that this version of VPN should only be used for connecting to servers such as tamba or access to TCOnline (PeopleSoft) or other college systems which require it. For access to library databases and online journals, do not use VPN, but use the library instructions for EZProxy instead.

1.) Please download the FortiClient for VPN App to your device. Be sure you download the FortiClient VPN only option from the list of available products (not the whole suite of Forticlient applications).

2.) Tap Select Connection then Add Configuration on iOS or New VPN on Android

3.) Enter the following information to configure VPN:

  • Secure Protocol: SSL VPN
  • Name: Trinity VPN (or a name of your choosing)
  • Server Address/Gateway: waldo.trincoll.edu
  • Enable Single Sign On (SSO)
  • Enter port: 443

4.) Tap Save.

5.) Tap Connect A new window will open prompting you for your Trinity [email protected] and your Trinity password. Once authenticated, this window will disappear and you will be connected.

6.) Tap Connect again to disconnect

Additional installers for other devices can be found at https://www.fortinet.com/support/product-downloads. Please download ONLY the “Forticlient VPN only” option. (Other versions of Forticlient will not work.)
