Michael J. Kluger earned a B.A. in history from Trinity and an M.B.A. in hospital administration from the University of Chicago. He is a founding partner of Altaris Capital Partners, LLC, an investment firm that focuses exclusively on the health care industry. Prior to launching Altaris in 2002, Kluger spent a decade as a founding partner of Liberty Partners, specializing in health care investments, and before that, he held various positions in Merrill Lynch’s private equity and investment banking groups.

Kluger has been a member of the board since 2012. He also has served as a member of the Athletic Campaign Committee and the Board of Fellows. He and his wife, Heidi M. Greene ’78, P’13, were included on the College’s Wall of Honor in 2013. Kluger serves as the chair of the Finance and Physical Resources Committee, in addition to being a member of the Executive and Planning Committee, and the Marketing and Communications Subcommittee.

Kluger and his wife have two children, including August “Gus” Kluger ’13.
