Michael C. Huebsch is a managing director at BlackRock, the global asset manager headquartered in New York City, which he joined in 1989. He is chairman of BlackRock’s Financial Institutions Group and a member of the firm’s Global Operating Committee.

He graduated from Trinity College with a B.A. in political science in 1980. He earned an M.B.A. in finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1985.

Huebsch served on Trinity’s Board of Fellows (2010-2013) and is a member of the Board of Overseers of the School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science at St. John’s University in New York City. He and his wife, Suzanne d’Harcourt Hooper, reside in Darien, Connecticut.

Huebsch serves as the chair of the Enrollment Subcommittee and a member of the Investment Subcommittee.
