Study Away FAQ – Financial Aid

Financial Aid Website

The main contact in the Financial Aid Office for study away students is Morgan Pohorylo.

Trinity College has a Home School Tuition Policy for all semester study away. Students will be charged Trinity College Tuition and the General Fee through the Student Accounts Office. CLICK HERE to read about the policy.

Trinity Signature Programs:

The Student Accounts office will bill you for room & board. If you received financial aid to pay for that, it should automatically apply to your Trinity bill.

Approved External Programs:

All students will receive a bill for non-academic fees (including housing) from their program. Students are responsible for paying this bill. If you are expecting your financial aid to pay for your housing bill, you can send the bill to [email protected] and [email protected]. Your financial aid will then be sent to your program.

Students can cancel their study away plans by the commitment deadline to avoid any penalties from Trinity College.

  • Fall/Full Year Study Away is March 15th.
  • Spring Study Away is October 15th.

Important: Students accepted to an Approved External Program should also refer to their programs withdraw policy.

What happens after the commitment deadline:
