The library will digitize videos for viewing in Moodle. Fill out a request, choose Request Type = Library and Course Reserves and Streaming Video
Streaming Video
Trinity provides access to streaming video content through multiple platforms, and digitizes films from our DVD collections for course support.
Finding Videos
- If faculty are interested in using a film for a course, they do not need to find it on a streaming service or DVD. Submit a request with the title and any other important information and staff will find the best way to provide the film.
- All films currently available at Trinity through our subscription vendors are listed in OneSearch. To limit a search to video use the Resource Type = Audio and Video Streaming. DVDs are listed in OneSearch by limiting Resource Type to Video (DVD/VHS).
- Note films from Kanopy and Swank are one year licenses. When planning to use a video in a course, be sure to check that access will be on when you need it. Expiration dates are listed in OneSearch in the film’s record.

Caribbean Independent Films
A collection of independent films created by Caribbean filmmakers and distributed by Studio Anansi, acquired at the request of the Center for Caribbean Studies.
Films on Demand
Documentaries, educational videos, news reports, and more that cover a wide range of subject areas.
Kanopy
Documentaries, foreign films, classic films, and more that cover a broad range of topics. Availability is subject to change.
Swank
Popular (and not so popular) theatrical films old and new. From Disney to Hitchcock, the selection is varied and may change as often as monthly. Please submit a request to turn on a film for a one year license.
