Marta Mazzocchi ’28 is a member of the Trinity College women’s ice hockey team, but she’s not competing as a Bantam this year; Mazzocchi is representing her home country of Italy on its women’s national ice hockey team at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Students ‘Branch Out’ to Explore STEM Courses during January Term

Trinity College’s January Term offers students the opportunity to focus intensively on subjects of their choosing—including offerings in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). J-Term allows Trinity students to enroll in one half-credit course during a two-week term.

In recognition of its strong institutional commitment to community engagement, Trinity College has received the prestigious 2026 Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement. Trinity is one of 277 institutions recognized with this designation by the American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Trinity Community Members Give the Gift of Life

A member of the Trinity College community recently donated blood stem cells to someone in need. Trinity is part of the Get in the Game program led by the global nonprofit NMDP. Donor registry recruitment events on campus have led to five blood stem cell donations in five years.
