Dear Members of the Trinity College Community,

I write to invite you to submit nominations for the following four awards, which are conferred at Commencement.

Trustee Excellence Awards—2021

The Board of Trustees initiated the awards in 2006 to express their appreciation for the exemplary service, dedication, and achievements of Trinity faculty, staff and students. The Board of Trustees believe there are many worthwhile individuals from our campus community who are deserving of this recognition. Thus, we encourage all members of the community to consider submitting nominations for a deserving member of our faculty, staff or student body. We welcome you to submit nominations here until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2021.

Honorary Degrees and Commencement Speakers—2022

An honorary degree is one of higher education’s most significant accolades. Trinity College awards honorary degrees, honoris causa, to distinguished individuals who during the course of their lives have made enduring contributions to society and to the world through education, public or humanitarian service, arts and culture, business, medicine, philanthropy, the media, or other endeavors. Honorary degree recipients should have demonstrated commitment to the humane and educational values that exemplify the mission of Trinity College. We invite all members of the Trinity community to submit nominations for Commencement 2022. Nominations for 2022 honorary degree recipients and Commencement speakers can be submitted here until 5:00 p.m. on March 15, 2021.

Any questions about Honorands or Trustee Excellence Awards can be referred to Special Assistant to the President, Karolina Kwiecinska.
