As a Trinity parent and family member, you are one of our most valuable ambassadors.
Parent and family volunteers are extremely important to furthering the mission of the college, acting as ambassadors and helping to cultivate positive relationships with fellow parents.
Join the Trinity College Parents Leadership Council
Membership on the Parents Council provides an opportunity to participate in the growth and development of Trinity while fostering stronger ties to your student’s experience and the Trinity community. Parents Leadership Council members support the college’s strategic initiatives and enhance the experience for all Trinity students.
Serve as a Career Panelist or Speaker, or Host Students in Your Workplace
Share industry-specific career advice and network with students, lead a skills lab to teach entry-level industry-specific skills, or host students for a daylong visit to help students gain a 360-view of your organization.
Host or Attend a Trinity Welcome Reception
We welcome Trinity families to host informal receptions in cities across the country and the world to welcome first-year families to Trinity and foster connections between parents and families of current students.
The Parents Fund—part of the Trinity College Fund—supports the operating needs of the college. It has traditionally been one of the strongest funds of its kind among liberal arts colleges. Gifts to The Parents Fund support every program at the college and benefit all students immediately.
In addition to supporting the annual fund, gifts may be designated to restricted purposes including financial aid, career development, and athletic teams. For more information and additional giving opportunities, visit Giving Priorities.
To make a gift to Trinity, please call the 24-Hour Trinity Gift Line at (800) 771-6184 or visit our online giving page.
Each year, a number of parents are invited to join this parent leadership group. Parent Directors meet twice yearly on campus and are kept informed of recent college developments. They also assist the college in outreach and serve as hosts at various events. For more information, visit The Parent Directors of Trinity College.
Parents Fund Committee
Members of the Parents Fund Committee (PFC) serve as the primary and most personal contact between Trinity College and their fellow parents. PFC members help to raise unrestricted gifts for the Parents Fund, increase parent participation, and connect parents to the college.
If you are interested in getting involved, contact Kerry Smith, Director of Family Giving, at 860-297-4076.
