The International House: ‘A Space of Comfort for Me and for Others Far from Home’

Coming to Trinity as a first-year student from Kabul, Afghanistan, Hanifa Darwish ’22 found support at the college’s International House, which promotes the appreciation of diversity on campus. “The iHouse helps international students adapt to life at Trinity and introduces all students to international cultures through events, discussions, and trips,” she says.

Trinity Public Policy and Law Faculty Member Nominated to Connecticut Superior Court

Visiting Assistant Professor of Public Policy and Law Matthew A. Weiner has been nominated by Governor Ned Lamont to become a judge on the Connecticut Superior Court. Weiner currently serves as a prosecutor in the Chief State’s Attorney’s Office and has taught “Fundamentals of American Law” at Trinity since 2016.

Career and Life Design Center Connects with Students at New Location in the Cornelia Center

The spring 2022 semester brings some big changes to Trinity’s Career and Life Design Center, which is now open in the Cornelia Center (formerly known as Vernon Social). As it continues its mission to empower students and graduates to be active agents in designing their careers, the center is a new hub for student-centered activity on campus.
