Logging into Moodle with MFA

To help keep Moodle accounts secure, external non-Trinity users will be prompted to use MFA, or multi-factor authentication, when logging in.

Trinity users are already covered by the College’s MFA policies and should continue logging in through the standard Trinity single sign-on process.

External users with local Moodle accounts, such as accounts created with a personal email address, should select the local account login option. After entering their username and password, they will receive a verification code by email. Enter the code when prompted to complete the login process.
