Senior Parents Gift Campaign
In 2018, Trinity College started a new tradition: each and every graduating senior is honored with an inscribed brick on the Lower Long Walk. These bricks are installed on the campus each May and are dedicated to our newest alumni at a dedication ceremony during Commencement Weekend. In turn, it has become a tradition for Trinity parents and families to celebrate their graduating seniors, too, by making a gift to the College in their graduate’s honor. Gifts from the families of graduating seniors make a lasting and meaningful impact at the College and support future Bantams.
Trinity guides and prepares our students to take the next step in becoming the innovative, inspiring leaders of tomorrow. In gratitude for their students’ Trinity experiences, senior families will consider gifts to support an area of the College that was meaningful to their student: financial aid, an academic department, a sports team, or something else that matters to you.
Offering your support at Commencement is a tremendous show of confidence in the Trinity experience and shores up the strong future of the College. Senior parents who give at the leadership level are invited to join the Senior Parent Gift Committee. Many families will choose to make a capstone commitment – a special multi-year pledge that endures past their graduate’s time ‘neath the elms. Capstone commitments take many forms and can be designated towards a wide variety of priorities. While many parents and grandparents will stay engaged with the life of the college long past their student’s graduation, making a capstone gift can solidify your family’s legacy at Trinity.
Make your gift in honor of your student!
Senior Brick Dedication
During Commencement Weekend in May 2026, the college will honor the senior class by installing engraved bricks on the Lower Long Walk bearing the names of each and every graduating senior. The inscribed bricks will unite the class in celebration, and be a symbol of the mark these students have made on Trinity before they go out and make their mark on the world. When they return to campus as alumni, these bricks will serve as a reminder of their many great memories and accomplishments from Trinity.
Giovanna Miller P'25 Chair, 2025 Senior Parents Committee“It was an honor to be Chair the Senior Parents Committee. One of the highlights of that year was the 2025 Trinity Commencement. We were honored to stand shoulder to shoulder with other families as we celebrated our Bantam graduates. It couldn’t have been a better moment to be All In: as we gathered to inspire more senior parents to step forward with a commitment to Trinity’s future.”
