Dear Trinity Faculty, Staff, and Students,

I am writing to invite you to an exciting event on Thursday, March 5 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in Vernon Social. Since December, five student teams have been working diligently on their design proposals for Trinity’s mentoring networks for incoming first-year students. Thursday’s event, set up as a poster-presentation expo, will give each of you an opportunity to meet the teams, see their design proposals, and more importantly for you to provide your feedback on their designs as they prepare their presentations for a panel of judges on Sunday.

I hope you will join me in this opportunity to take an active role in the creation of Trinity’s mentoring networks, which supports one of our campus-wide goals: “strengthening campus culture by promoting and facilitating a healthy and inclusive campus life throughout the College community.” I know our student teams will appreciate your thoughtful consideration and feedback as they work collaboratively to build a robust support network that meets the needs of 21st century students.

Sincerely,

Joanne Berger-Sweeney
President and Trinity College
