The inauguration of Daniel G. Lugo as the 23rd president of Trinity College will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
Inauguration Weekend will feature academic symposia, the formal installation ceremony, and a luncheon for members of the Trinity community and honored guests. The celebration will coincide with Fall Weekend, which brings together Homecoming and Family Weekend in a spirited showcase of campus life.

Daniel G. Lugo began his service as Trinity College’s 23rd president on July 1, 2025. He comes to Trinity after serving as president of Queens University of Charlotte since 2019 and is driven by a lifelong passion for the mission of higher education and has centered his career on leadership that enhances institutions and their profiles.
