Parents and Families As Partners

Parent & Family Orientation Program

The Parent & Family Orientation Program is a half-day program that is hosted on Sunday, August 25th and focuses on connecting parents and families to campus resources available to their student to help them make a smooth transition to life on campus.

The tentative schedule is provided below:

6:00pm – 7:30pm Community Cookout Mather Dining Hall/The Cave Patio & Gates Quad

 

Zoom Sessions

For the month of May, we will be hosting a virtual series for parents and families to get to meet campus partners and ask questions as students navigate the onboarding process and prepare to arrive at Trinity in August.

Session I: The Bantam Network & The Office of Student and Community Life

Join representatives from the Bantam Network and the Office of Student and Community Life as they answer questions about the new student onboarding process, housing, and student life on campus.

Session II: Campus Resources

Have questions about resources available on campus to students? Join us for a chance to hear from representatives from various campus partners such as the Student Accessibility Resource Center (SARC), Campus Safety, Spiritual and Religious Life, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Center for Academic and Experiential Advising, Health Center, Counseling and Wellness Center, and Career and Life Design.

Session III: Pre-Orientation, New Student Orientation (NSO), and Orientation NEXT programs

Please join us to hear more about the Pre-Orientation and Orientation NEXT programs that new students can participate in as well as General New Student Orientation (NSO).

Session IV: Financing

A chance to meet with representatives from the Financial Aid Office and  Student Accounts regarding financial aid, billing, and student health insurance.
