What is P.R.I.D.E.?
Promoting Respect for Inclusive Diversity in Education (P.R.I.D.E.) is a first-year residential peer mentor program that promotes a culture of support and understanding to address the challenges that students encounter that can hinder their overall success at institutes of higher education.
In order to, address those challenges, P.R.I.D.E. empowers students, staff, and faculty to build meaningful connections and foster an inclusive learning experience via strategic programming that enhances the campus community. P.R.I.D.E. introduces team-building opportunities, leadership skills, and support to students in becoming thoughtful representatives. It is our commitment to empower students with a healthy self-esteem and critical thinking skills that promotes learning and professional development in all areas of their lives.
