Welcome to Trinity College!

Your relationship to alcohol and other drugs can significantly impact your wellness and academic success here at Trinity College. The college is requiring all incoming students to complete online courses (Alcohol-Wise and Marijuana-Wise) to provide you with an opportunity to learn factual and practical information about substances.

Whether you choose to use substances or to be sober, Alcohol-Wise and Marijuana-Wise will empower you to make well-informed decisions and/or will help you cope with the substance related behavior of your peers.

Please be advised that all individual responses to questions within the courses are confidential and cannot be seen by anyone at Trinity College. The benefit of entering honest information throughout the course is that it will provide you with personalized feedback about specific ways you may be placing yourself at risk. The feedback will also let you know how your use, if any, compares to that of your peers.

Both courses take one hour each to complete. You may log into the course as many times as needed to finish the program. You do not have to complete it in one sitting. You must earn a score of 70 or higher to successfully complete the courses and Trinity will automatically receive notification of your course completion. A brief follow up module (Part 2) will become available to you after approximately 30 days, this is also a required part of the courses.

Please read pages 93-98 of the Student Handbook to familiarize yourself with college policies regarding alcohol and other drug use, as well as the Trinity College Medical Amnesty and Good Samaritan Policy, prior to starting your courses.
