Application Deadlines
Be sure to check our application deadlines to ensure you don’t miss the opportunity to join our community. Applications may be submitted on a rolling basis, but they are reviewed three times a year, according to the following schedule:

Applicants receive a response within 10 days of submission and are expected to register for courses in the upcoming term.
Application Requirements
Applicants seeking admission to any graduate program at Trinity College must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a recommended minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Successful applicants will demonstrate evidence of academic purpose and promise, showcasing a readiness for graduate-level courses.
Additional Graduate Studies Requirements
For master’s degree applicants, the following materials are required:
- Completed application.
- Statement of academic purpose, describing goals in pursuing this degree (750-word maximum).
- The names and email addresses of 2 references who can speak to your readiness for graduate work.
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
Additional considerations:
- Transferring credit: Indicate if you wish to transfer credit for up to two graduate courses taken elsewhere.
- Proficiency in English: Non-native English speakers should submit relevant test scores (e.g., Duolingo, TOEFL, or IELTS).
If you wish to enroll as a non-degree applicant:
- Complete the online application.
- Provide transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
Additional considerations:
- Non-degree applicants are permitted to enroll in two courses.
- Courses taken may count toward the M.A. degree upon application for full admission.
- Financial aid is not available for this program.
- International applicants cannot apply to this program.
