The Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival Hartford (ASOFH) brings some of the world’s most promising young organists to Hartford to perform and compete on Trinity’s renowned Austin pipe organ.

The ASOFH centers around an annual competition for young organists, with winners receiving significant prizes to further their music education and careers. In addition to the competition, ASOFH presents concerts, masterclasses, and other educational opportunities for students and the general public. These events are presented at the college and throughout the Hartford region.

ASOFH aims to enhance the area of organ education through supporting young organ students, as well as by encouraging general appreciation for organ music of the past and present. Founded in 1997 at the historic First Church of Christ in Wethersfield, Connecticut, ASOFH has been based at Trinity College since 2015.

The competition alternates annually between a High School Division Competition and a Young Professional Competition.
