Procession Information and Regalia

We ask that you provide your own academic regalia. All delegates in the academic procession are expected to wear academic attire. If you do not have a cap and gown, please contact the school or organization you are representing so that they may provide you with the necessary academic regalia. A secure room will be available for robing and for storing your personal belongings during the ceremony.

Delegates should report to the Scully Center at Ferris Athletic Center by 8:00 a.m. for robing and procession lineup.

Light refreshments will be available. Staff will be on hand to provide guidance and assistance.

The procession will commence promptly at 8:50 a.m. Please plan to remain for the full duration of the event, including the recessional.

Travel and Accommodations

Discounted hotel blocks are available at several locations nearby, with booking deadlines ranging from September 17 to October 1, 2025. We recommend making your reservations early.

Golf cart shuttle service will be available on October 17 and 18. For assistance, contact Campus Safety Dispatch at 860‑297‑2222.

Parking

Free parking is available at several locations on campus, with shuttle service from the Koeppel Community Sports Center (175 New Britain Avenue, Hartford, CT) and the CREC Learning Corridor parking garage (385 Washington Street, Hartford, CT). Street parking is also available.
