Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for the warm welcome that so many of you have extended to my family and me as we begin this new chapter at Trinity and in Hartford. I am truly honored to serve as your president and am eager to learn more about you and the community we share.

Like many of you, I’ve dedicated my career to expanding access to higher education—because I believe deeply in the transformative power of higher education to change lives and shape a more just society. As I begin my tenure, I want to hear directly from you—your experiences, your perspectives, and your hopes for Trinity.

Listening is the first step in building trust, fostering meaningful collaboration, and making thoughtful, inclusive decisions. Your insights will help me better understand Trinity’s strengths and challenges and will guide me as we work together to shape a shared vision for the future of our remarkable institution.

We are an extraordinary community entering our third century of teaching, learning, and scholarship. As we look ahead, I ask:
