Registration and RSVP
You can register or RSVP by completing the online Fall Weekend 2025 & Inaguration Weekend form that is also provided in your print or electronic invitation.
The RSVP deadline will be listed on the RSVP form or event invitation you received. If you are uncertain, please call us at 860-297-2170 or email [email protected].
Yes. Even if you are a current student, faculty, or staff member, we ask that you RSVP to help us plan accordingly for events throughout the weekend. You can let us know which events you will be attending by submitting this form; Fall Weekend and Inauguration Weekend.
Yes. If you’re unable to attend, you can indicate a proxy to attend on your behalf. Please inform the Planning Committee at [email protected]

Attire & Regalia
Delegates participating in the procession should wear academic regalia. All other guests are encouraged to wear business or business casual attire, depending on the event.
Yes. Delegates should bring academic regalia from the institution you are representing, as it will be worn during the formal academic procession. You can find more information at the Information for Delegates webpage.

Academic Procession
Yes, a dedicated robing room will be available in the Scully Center for delegates to prepare and don their academic regalia.
Delegates will process in order based on their institution’s founding date. There will be someone the day of to direct you.
Yes. Reserved seating will be provided for delegates participating in the procession as well as for one guest accompanying each delegate.

Ceremony and Events
Visit our schedule of events to see the full listing of events taking place throughout the weekend. Inauguration Weekend is taking place in concert with Fall Weekend.
The Inauguration ceremony will begin at 9:00 a.m., at the Ray Oosting Gymnasium in the Ferris Athletic Center, and is expected to be about 90 minutes. There will be a program of the ceremony available closer to the event.
Attendance at the ceremony is open to all members of the Trinity Community (students, faculty, staff, alumni, families) and invited guests. The Inauguration takes place in concert with Fall Weekend. Please click this link to RSVP to attend any of the scheduled events.
Inauguration Weekend includes a series of celebratory and ceremonial events such as academic symposia, community gatherings, cultural performances, and the formal inauguration ceremony. See the full schedule of events.
Yes, seating will be provided for both guests and dignitaries. Designated areas will be clearly marked, and ushers will be available to assist with seating arrangements. We recommend arriving early to ensure a smooth experience.
Yes, designated seating is arranged for faculty, students, and staff to ensure everyone has a place during the event.

Parking, Transportation, and Accommodations
Yes, parking permits will be provided to delegates. You will receive detailed parking information and permits in upcoming communications from the Inauguration Planning Committee.
Free parking is available at several locations on campus, with shuttle service from the Koeppel Community Sports Center (175 New Britain Avenue, Hartford, CT) and the CREC Learning Corridor parking garage (385 Washington Street, Hartford, CT). Street parking is also available.

Weather and Contingency
In the event of inclement weather, the College will implement its contingency plans to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees. This may include relocating certain events to an indoor venue, providing covered walkways or tents, and updating the schedule as needed. Notifications will be sent via email, posted on the College’s website, and shared through official social media channels.

Livestream, Recordings, and Photography
Yes, select events will be livestreamed and recorded to ensure accessibility for those unable to attend in person. Livestream links and recordings will be available on the college’s official website and social media platforms. Please check the Inauguration scheduled events page the week of the event for specific details and viewing options.
Yes, selected events will be photographed by the College for publication on the College-owned media and channels. Email [email protected] with questions about photography and videography at public events.
