Are you an active or aspiring media-maker in search of a space to produce content?  Apply to be a Film Studies Fellow.

The Film Studies Program embraces makers of media in all its forms and is seeking applicants for Film Studies Fellows from Trinity students of any major.  A Film Studies Fellow will have access to the Film Studies Program’s Production Studio in CCAN on a reserved basis for content creation.  The space includes a green screen wall, a wall of backdrops, 3 Led light banks, a tripod, microphone, microphone stand, boom, video camera, iMac, and wall-mounted television.  The space also includes a soundproof booth with microphones that can be used for audio recording and production, including podcasting and voice-over work. Film Fellows will have the opportunity to receive advice and coaching from faculty members in the Film Studies Program.

Applicants can be either an individual or a pair of creators. Film Fellows may naturally include others in their productions, but the fellow(s) must be present when the studio is in use since they are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the studio and its equipment during use.

An open house of the Film Studies Film Studio in 107 CCAN will be held on Thursday, September 22 from 12:15-1:30.

Completed applications are due by September 29, and should be sent to Dr. Madalene Spezialetti, co-director of Film Studies, at [email protected] with the subject heading FILM STUDIES FELLOW APPLICATION.
