Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

We write to provide an update on the presence of COVID-19 in our community. As of today, 79 members of our community are currently isolating with COVID. This includes 78 students and one employee. We have 45 students who are isolating on campus with the remainder isolating off campus. Based on information gathered by the health center we believe this increase cases are the result of social gatherings.

While campus operations are continuing as scheduled, it’s essential that we remain vigilant and continue to show care for one another by consistently wearing masks indoors. It is especially important to exercise caution in large group gatherings and social activities, preferably taking activities outside if weather permits.

Our goal remains to mitigate disruption to the in-person learning experience, and we have a shared responsibility to help ensure that happens. We appreciate your cooperation, and thank you for your commitment to the ongoing safety and concern for each other and our community.

For more details and the most current gathering guidelines, be sure to visit the COVID-19 website. We will keep you informed as new information becomes available. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jason Rojas, Chief of Staff and Associate Vice President for External Relations
Joe DiChristina, Vice President for Student Success and Enrollment Management
