After recent earthquakes left cities destroyed and thousands dead in Turkey and Syria, Trinity College students from Turkey quickly organized a fundraising campaign to support the people in their home country whose lives have been severely impacted.

The Kukily Afrofeminst Arts Collective, presented their work "Negra, negra, negra soy," at Trinity College Feb. 9, as part of Black History Month. The performance was designed to strengthen connections, generate a greater understanding of each others' lived experiences, and engage in art making.

For patients with chronic conditions, regular medical appointments are integral to treatment. So, a research team including a Trinity College professor and an alumna is trying to pinpoint the reasons some patients with multiple sclerosis miss them.

A tight-knit group of friends—all of whom graduated in the 1990s, met their spouses at Trinity, and participated on Bantam sports teams—recently got together to make a joint leadership gift establishing a new fund at Trinity dedicated to supporting equity in women’s athletics.

Trinity students enrolled in January Term courses this winter engaged in diverse topics in computer labs, in the outdoors, and even in a galaxy far, far away. J-Term courses appealed to a broad range of interests, and allowed for an intensity of focus not often possible during a busy semester.

Trinity College has named the students who have earned Faculty Honors for the fall 2022 semester.

The odds of being bullied were 87 percent greater—and cyberbullied, 55 percent greater—among those with Individual Education Programs (IEPs), in a study by Trinity College, the University of Connecticut (UConn) Health Center, and Johnson & Wales University.

Ashira Biswas ‘24 attended the December Nobel Peace Prize ceremony where the award was conferred to Ales Bialiatski, pro-democracy activist from Belarus, and two human rights organizations, and Biswas was celebrated for her own achievement.
