Many members of the Class of 2029 began their Trinity College experiences early by coming to campus the week before New Student Orientation. Through collaborative partnerships across campus, in Hartford, and beyond, the Pre-Orientation Programs foster awareness, care, connection, conversations, and experiences as a community.

Trinity’s Career & Life Design Center led the Trinity F1RST program to prepare new, first-generation students—the first in their family to complete a four-year college degree—for a successful transition to college.

International Student Orientation is an important part of an international student’s introduction to life in the United States as well as on Trinity’s campus.

The three-day Invention, Innovation, & Entrepreneurship (IIE) program is part of the Tyree Innovation Fellowship, which is a two-year program for students interested in leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

P.R.I.D.E. Welcome Weekend is a three-day program designed to support incoming first-year students from all backgrounds and identities in making a successful transition to Trinity’s academic and social environment.

Quest is Trinity’s outdoor leadership program, which offered eight-day and five-day backpacking trips, rock climbing, and base camping—all along the Connecticut section of the Appalachian Trail.

Students who joined the Summit-to-Success (S2S) Scholars program got a jump-start on successfully navigating college. They practiced life design and creative problem-solving skills, developed individualized success plans, and met with a professional coaching team.

The Elizabeth Elting Foundation Venture Conference is a three-day leadership experience centered on advancing women in leadership. Open to all students, the conference offered opportunities to connect with future classmates through teambuilding, strengths assessments, and leadership development sessions.
