Important Update: Fall 2020 recruitment for the Inter-Greek and Panhellenic Councils will be postponed until Spring 2021. Fall 2020 membership intake for NALFO, MGC, and NPHC organizations will be conducted virtually or in-person if under 10 participants.
To seek membership in a Greek organization, students must be at least sophomore status and meet the following criteria:
- Have a GPA of a 3.0 or higher. We consider a student’s cumulative GPA or their GPA from the Spring 2020 semester. There will be no exceptions to the GPA requirement.
- Students must be in good behavioral standing to pursue membership. Students who are on censure may not participate in sorority and fraternity recruitment.
All rules found in the student handbook are applicable to recruitment events. Further, this is an ALCOHOL FREE process. Any chapter found in violation will face severe disciplinary action that may include loss of membership recruitment privileges or suspension of chapter activities. Any PNM found in violation will lose their privilege to seek fraternity or sorority membership this year. Regardless of age, members may not consume alcohol during recruitment events and PNMs may not consume alcohol during recruitment events. All events are to remain substance free.
