A tight-knit group of friends—all of whom graduated in the 1990s, met their spouses at Trinity, and participated on Bantam sports teams—recently got together to make a joint leadership gift establishing a new fund at Trinity dedicated to supporting equity in women’s athletics.
As chair emeritus of the Parents Leadership Council, a Trinity donor, and an all-around champion for the College and for the benefits that accrue as a result of families’ involvement in the school, Tim Hoeffner P’21, ’23 is helping to build Trinity connections that matter.
A gift from the family foundation of Trinity College alumnus Gregory Mario ’87, CEO of TAXIS Pharmaceuticals Inc., will create a new endowed professorship, the Henry A. DePhillips Jr. Chemistry Professorship, honoring Mario’s former professor and adviser.
