Register for TrinALERT
Student Registration
All students must register their contact information for TrinALERT. New registrations and updates to contact information are transferred to TrinALERT on a daily basis.
Register for TrinALERT
- Log-in to TCOnline at http://tconline.trincoll.edu using your Trinity username and password.
- Click the Self Service link on the left side of the page.
- Click the Campus Personal Information link.
**All phone numbers must be exactly 10 digits without spaces or special characters.** - Click the Phone Numbers link.
- Click the Add a Phone Number button.
- Choose “*Urgent Phone-TEXT” from the Phone Type drop-down.
- Enter your cell phone number (text and voice messages will be sent)
- Repeat steps #5-7 for each of the following:
– “*Urgent Phone-VOICE” – an optional landline phone that you would like to receive voice messages on
– “Urgent PARENT Phone-TEXT” – the cell phone you would like a parent/guardian to receive text and voice messages on
– “Urgent PARENT Phone-VOICE” – the landline phone you would like a parent/guardian to receive voice messages on - Click the Save button.
- Click the Email Addresses link at the top.
- Click the Add an Email Address button.
- Choose “*Urgent Email Addr1” from the Email Type drop-down.
- Enter an alternate email address (your Trinity email address is already included in the alert system).
- Repeat steps #11-13 for the parent/guardian email address you would like to be included as “Urgent Parent Email”
- Click the Save button.
- Click the Sign Out link at the top right of the page.
- Close all browser windows to protect your account.
Now is also a good time to update your list of emergency contacts.

Faculty and Staff Registration
TrinALERT receives the following employee contact fields from TrinCore:
- Urgent Phone- Text (cell phone capable of receiving text messages-SMS)
- Urgent Phone- Voice (an alternate number to which voice messages are sent)
- Office extension
- Home phone number
- Trinity email address
- Urgent email address
Instructions
For the most detailed and up to date instructions please visit the following page.
- Log-in to TrinCore at https://trincore.trincoll.edu/ using your Trinity username and password.
- From the “Me” Dashboard click on “Contact Info”
- In the Contact Info page, look for Urgent Phone-TEXT and Urgent Phone-VOICE numbers. Confirm these are accurate.
- If these are not accurate, click the Pencil icon to the right to make changes. **All phone numbers must be exactly 10 digits.**
- If you are missing one or both urgent numbers, click the + icon at the top right of the Phone details box to add them.
- Choose “*Urgent Phone-TEXT” from the Phone Type drop-down.
- Enter your cell phone number (to receive text and voice messages)
- Choose “*Urgent Phone-VOICE” from the Phone Type drop-down.
- Enter the landline phone you would like Voice Messages to be sent to. Note: your office line and home phone number as they exist in TrinCore are already added to the Alert System.
- Click the Save button.
- If you do not see an Urgent Email, follow these instructions to add one: Click the + icon at the top right on the Email details box.
- Click the Add an Email Address button.
- Choose “*Urgent Email Addr1” from the Email Type drop-down.
- Enter the email address you would like urgent messages sent to.
- Click the Save button.
- Click the Sign Out link at the top right of the page.
- Close all browser windows to protect your account.
