Coffee: The Underground Coffeehouse

The Underground (UG) began in the mid-1980s as a student-run café and has grown into a cozy, welcoming space for socializing. It features soft lighting, student art, comfortable seating, and a menu of coffee, espresso, and specialty drinks like the “Milky Way” and “Berry Sunrise.” Still entirely student-run, the UG is managed by students who oversee operations and ensure the café remains self-supporting and inclusive.

Coffee: Peter B's Espresso

Located in the Raether Library, Peter B’s has served the Trinity community for over 30 years with hot and cold drinks and freshly baked local goods. The café supports sustainability through non-dairy options, bring-your-own-mug discounts, recyclable materials, and free coffee grounds for compost. Staffed by students, Peter B’s offers hands-on experience and a welcoming space where many build lasting connections.
