Here’s what to do.
Information for:
- Students
- Trinity employees
Students
Please return to your residence and stay there with your mask on until a healthcare professional or on-call campus staff member contacts you.
- You are encouraged to call a family member. The staff in Student and Community Life will not contact a member of your family until they speak with you and you are settled into our isolation room.
- Begin to pack necessary belongings as you will move into our “isolation” housing for a period of at least 10 days. You will not be able to leave that housing during isolation so pack everything you may need for that period of time: clothes, electronics, charging cords, books, medicine, personal care items, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, etc.
- Expect a call from a contact tracer. Prepare in advance by listing the names of all individuals with whom you have been in close contact for the two days prior to the collection date of your positive test.
- Should you ever experience trouble breathing, pain or pressure in your chest, confusion, inability to stay awake, bluish lips or face, or any other severe symptoms, seek emergency medical care immediately by calling 911 and Campus Safety 860-297-2222 (if you’re on campus).
