The Queer Resource Center is the place on campus for our LGBTQ+ Students, Faculty, and Staff!

Purpose

The Queer Resource Center works to create a visible LGBTQ+ community that is inclusive of students, faculty, and staff through affirmation of their multiple and intersecting identities.

The Queer Resource Center serves as Trinity College’s diverse community of gender identities, gender expressions, and romantic and sexual orientations. This is done through fostering students’ personal growth, leadership development, community engagement, and providing resources, services, education, training, and advocacy. Educational programs allow for the entire Trinity community to explore concepts related to LGBTQ+ people and issues they are facing. Through engagement, we hope to provide an opportunity for people to meet and create meaningful relationships with each other.

With the center we hope to create a strong and cohesive LGBTQ+ community as part of the greater Trinity community and ensure that all members of our campus feel as though they are welcomed and valued.

Goals

Serve as a resource and mentoring space for students.
