The features that make Trinity a unique place to prepare for graduate study in the health professions (medical school, veterinary school, dental school, nursing school, etc.) can be found within our curriculum and our community.  Health profession schools are looking more and more for students “who have the broadest possible education experience, not just in the sciences, but in the humanities and the arts as well.  ” (Admissions Deans’ Roundtable: Medicine as a Liberal Art, The Advisor, March 2003).  The community that Trinity embraces is one of diversity and opportunity.  With its urban location, Trinity provides students the opportunities for exposure to many different socio-economic and cultural groups through internships and volunteer placements in clinics, hospitals, shelters, and community service facilities.
