Each year, the Connecticut Poetry Circuit selects five student poets from colleges across the state to take part in a series of readings at Connecticut campuses during the spring semester. Trinity is eager to support this tradition and to celebrate the creativity of its students, whose voices and talents continue to enrich both our campus and the wider literary community.

CT Poetry Circuit 2026 – Alenka  Doyle

Tuesday, February 24th @ 4:30 P.M.
Reese Room, Smith House

This year, our own Alenka Doyle is among those selected to represent their college. As a neuroscience and English major, she works in a research lab studying visual attention; her research has led to a first-author publication and national awards. She is also a coxswain on the Men’s Rowing Team. After graduating, Alenka hopes to pursue a PhD in Psychology. We hope you’ll join us to support Alenka and hear the original work of five outstanding young poets.
