Nest Fellows
Nest Fellows are designed to uphold the Nest System and to foster a sense of community and belonging among the student body.
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is designed to uphold the Nest System and to foster a sense of community and belonging among the student body. Nest Fellows consists of five members who will host 10 programs throughout each semester revolving around Trinity’s ten nests. Through these programs, they will have the opportunity to collaborate with other clubs and organizations on campus, to engage their community.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This contracted role is for one full academic year, running from the New Student Orientation to the last day of classes in the spring semester. The agreement includes a three day mandatory training three days starting August 25th. In addition, there are mandatory commitments that will be listed further in the contract. Students contracted for this role will not be expected to work during long breaks such as: Thanksgiving, winter break, spring break, and finals.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must fulfill and maintain the following qualifications to be a Nest Fellow:
Good Academic Standing: Nest Fellows must maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative G.P.A to remain employed.
Good Social Standing: Nest Fellows must maintain “good conduct standing” with Trinity College.
Other Job/Commitment Policy: Nest Fellows must inform their supervisor if they hold more than 10 hours per week of outside leadership/membership positions. International Students must abide by rules related to their additional employment on a student visa.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and executing ten programs per semester.
- Creating and managing budgeting for programs.
- Design and market programs on social media and around campus.
- Attend weekly Nest Fellow meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
