Trinity Admits 1,691 Regular Decision Applicants to Class of ’21
Trinity College’s Office of Enrollment and Student Success released admissions decisions to regular decision applicants for the Class of 2021 on Thursday evening. From the strongest applicant pool in the College’s history, Trinity admitted 1,691 students from 38 countries and 41 states, plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The admitted students of the Class of 2021 are setting records. They include the highest number of students of color in Trinity’s history. Additionally, the class is geographically diverse, with 60 percent of admitted students coming from outside New England (a record high for the College) and 12 percent of students coming from outside the United States. Closer to home, the College is admitting 10 students from public schools in Hartford, all of whom are receiving full scholarships to Trinity. Admissions staff surprised three of them during a Thursday morning visit to Global Communications Academy. Read more
