Coursedog Forms
Coursedog is the College’s new curriculum management software that allows course and program proposals to be routed to department chairs and the Curriculum Committee for approval. Approved courses and program changes then sync with PeopleSoft and the online Bulletin.
New Course Form
The Coursedog new course proposal form replaces the Qualtrics form and Course Management Console. Instructors should submit proposals for new courses by logging into Coursedog with their Trinity email address. Instructions are available here, or schedule a one-on-one tutorial by reaching out to Ellen Buckhorn at [email protected].
The form asks for the basic information about the course with additional questions regarding engaged learning so the Curriculum Committee can evaluate the proposal. Details about engaged learning hours are outlined in the chart below.

Edit Course Form
The edit course form should be used to make changes to existing courses that were previously submitted via the CMC. This includes changes to title, description, requirement designation, course type (e.g. lecture to seminar), course cap, course number (e.g. changing from a 200- to 300-level), adding a cross-listing, etc. To access the edit course form, you must first go into the Courses portion of the Curriculum Management portal in Coursedog. Instructions are available here: Editing a course in Coursedog.
Edit Course Cap Form
If you are only requesting a change to the course cap, you can use the Edit Course Cap form. Follow the same pathway as the Edit Course Form but choose the Edit Course Cap Form from the dropdown menu.
