As snow fell across campus, the 63rd annual Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols was celebrated in the Trinity College Chapel on Sunday, December 11, at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Trinity’s Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols marks the beginning of the holiday season for the Greater Hartford community. Through the reading of nine lessons, each followed by the singing of a carol, the Christmas story is recounted and celebrated.

The program included: The Chapel Singers; Trinity College Gospel Choir; Ellen Dickinson, carillon; Vaughn Mauren ’07, organ; Christopher Houlihan ’09, director of music; the Rev. Marcus George Halley, chaplain; and the Rev. Laura J. Ahrens, bishop. A freewill offering supported Razom, a nonprofit Ukrainian-American human rights organization.
