- Files may be removed when you log out. Please save your work to OneDrive or other cloud storage.
- You will be logged out after one hour of inactivity. All unsaved data will be lost.

Connecting to Windows Virtual Desktop from a Web Browser
NOTE: The web version is the recommended way to connect.
- Open a private/incognito window on your web browser
- Go to wvd.trincoll.edu
- Login as [email protected] and your Trinity password
- Under General_Labs 2025-2026, click GenLab
- In the Access Local Resources box that appears, click the Allow button
- Log in again as [email protected] and your Trinity password
- Note that the first time you ever log in will take several minutes as your profile gets created. Subsequent logins will be faster.
- To disconnect:
- Click on your Name (top right)
- Click Sign Out
Connecting to Windows Virtual Desktop from the MAC OS Client
NOTE: This method is available but the web version above is the preferred method.
- Download and install the Windows Remote Desktop App from the App Store. (If you already have the Remote Desktop App installed on your Mac, skip to step 5.)
- When the installation is complete, click the Open button, which will launch the Remote Desktop application.
- When asked “Help us make your experience better?“, click Not now
- When asked “We need to request access to your microphone and camera“, click Continue and then OK twice.
- Click on the Workspaces tab and then click Add Workspace
- Copy and paste this URL: https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/api/arm/feeddiscovery and click Add
- Sign in using your [email protected] and your Trinity password
- After Remote Desktop finds the associated resources, under General_Labs 2025-2026, click GenLab
- Login again using your Trinity password
- To disconnect:
- Click on the Start Menu (bottom left)
- Click Power Button and then Disconnect
Connecting to the Windows Virtual Desktop from the Windows OS Client
NOTE: This method is available but the web version at the top is the preferred method.
- Download and install the Windows Virtual Desktop App
- When the installation is complete, click the Finish button, which will launch the Remote Desktop application
- In the Let’s get started box, click the Subscribe button
- Sign in using your [email protected] and your Trinity password
- In the Stay signed in to all your apps box, uncheck Allow my organization to manage my device and click OK
- After Remote Desktop finds the associated resources, under General_Labs 2025-2026, click GenLab
- Login again using your Trinity password
- To disconnect:
- Click on the Start Menu (bottom left)
- Click the Power Button and then Disconnect
