Steve Petkovsek is an attorney at Fish and Richardson P.C., an international intellectual property law firm based in Boston. His practice focuses on preparation and prosecution of patents for a wide variety clients, from startups to Fortune 100 companies. Mr. Petkovsek has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications for a range of technologies, including telecommunications systems, semiconductor devices, machine learning applications, medical devices, bioinformatics systems, data monitoring applications, and hardware accelerators, among others.

Mr. Petkovsek received a B.S. in Engineering (Electrical) and a B.S. in Physics from Trinity College in 2012. He received his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2015. While at Trinity, Mr. Petkovsek was the Chief Engineer of the Robot Study Team. Prior to attending law school, he spent two summers at NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH working on NASA’s space navigation and communications network.
