The Center for Teaching and Learning is located in Dangremond Family Commons, which is adjacent to McCook and Hallden Halls. Formerly an independent bookstore, then a storage facility for several years, Dangremond Family Commons was renovated in 2013.

The main space is home to most CTL programs, as well as Faculty Research Committee lectures and Trinity Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies workshops, among other Common-Hour events. At all other times, Dangremond Family Commons is an open, café-style study and meeting space for faculty and students. Grab a cup of coffee and pick up a copy of the Chronicle of Higher Education (CTL subscribes). Members of the campus community may book Dangremond Family Commons for Common Hour events using the college’s event management system (EMS).

Also located in Hallden North, is the CTL Seminar Room (Hallden North 101), where regular meetings of the CTL Fellows program and New Faculty Seminars are held. (Although CTL has scheduling priority for this room, which holds about 12 people, other faculty groups may request reservations for it through EMS.) Hallden North 101 is also home to the CTL library, and all Trinity faculty have card access to the room.

CTL’s program coordinator, Ashley Hamelin, has her office in Hallden North 102.
