Accessible Parking Lots

Jarvis and Seabury Lots, Summit Street

Jarvis and Seabury Lots on Summit Street will be designated for Accessible Parking for Commencement ceremony guests displaying a state-issued accessible parking placard or license plate. Parking in these lots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and golf carts will assist with taking guests from those lots to the Main Quad and later, to the Post-Commencement Tent Celebration.

Mobility Drop-off Location

Manuel and Maria Luisa Lopes Borges Admissions Center, Summit Street

Guests with mobility issues may be dropped off at the Manuel and Maria Luisa Lopes Borges Admissions Center. From there, golf carts operated by volunteers will be available to assist guests traveling to the Main Quad and then to the Post-Commencement Tent Celebration.

Accessible Seating

Main Quad, ’Neath the Elms

The Main Quad is a flat, grassy area, with an accessible entrance off Summit Street at the Manuel and Maria Luisa Lopes Borges Admissions Center circle. From there, golf carts operated by volunteers will be available to assist guests traveling to the Main Quad and then to the Post-Commencement Tent Celebration. Accessible seating is designed with extra room for guests who use wheelchairs and other mobility devices, it is also located in proximity to the nearest accessible restrooms. Each person may bring two companions into the accessible seating section.  To request accessible seating, please email [email protected] by Friday, April 24.
