As a Front Desk Assistant, you will act as the first point of contact for both visitors and callers at the Bantam Network (Housing & Residence Life), providing a friendly and professional atmosphere. Your duties will encompass managing phone inquiries, taking messages, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This position demands outstanding communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to ensure the efficient functioning of the front desk.

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
  • Respond to basic questions in person or over the phone, and triage those that require assistance to a member of the Bantam Network Team.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Ensure that the reception area remains tidy and well-organized by removing any outdated posters from the desk. Keep the space free from clutter and make sure the lights are switched on and functioning properly.
  • Ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist the Bantam Network Staff in other administrative tasks.

Hourly rate of $17 per hour worked

Students are expected a minimum of 5-7 hours per week
