Faculty AI Research Seminar: Conversations across Disciplines. This seminar offers a space for faculty to engage intellectually around AI from the perspective of various disciplines and to explore the implications of AI for research.
Center for Teaching and Learning Events (CTL). CTL supports faculty in thinking about AI and pedagogy, including by hosting book clubs, faculty and student panels, and learning communities around AI.
AI Writing Pedagogy Project. The AI Writing Pedagogy Project is led by the Allan K. Smith Center for Writing and Rhetoric and incorporates the work of Trinity’s AI Writing Fellows.
Academic Workshops on AI for Faculty. Throughout the academic year, librarian led workshops will focus on helpful AI related topics for faculty from getting started with AI, to evaluating AI tools for research.
Fall Academic AI Symposia. Four symposia form part of the First-Year AI Essentials Lab, with other spaces reserved for the campus. This is an opportunity to grapple with big ideas and AI:
- AI and the Science of Human Learning
- Human Creativity in the Age of AI
- Cultivating Human Wellness and Resilience alongside AI
- What Makes Us Distinctively Human?
The Authenticity Project: Led by Trinity’s Watkinson Library, The Authenticity Project brings together Trinity students, faculty, and staff to explore what authenticity means in an era of generative AI and synthetic media. Through workshops, discussions, and hands-on engagement with archival collections and emerging technologies, the project examines provenance, evidence, digital preservation, and the ethical use of AI, connecting with Trinity’s commitments to critical inquiry, responsible scholarship, and the stewardship of cultural memory.
