With the confidence, technique and facility of the well-rounded actor as our destination, intermediate acting students will explore, engage and define their personal performance practices through project-based work. From text to performance, students will work on a range of texts and storytelling situations allowing a variety of opportunities for learning and applying explored theories and techniques for acting.

Drawing on works of renowned playwrights and practices, both old and new, Playwrights Workshop will be a writer’s playground. As we examine the form, content, and expression of a variety of works, students will be called to uncover the stories they want to tell and explore the interconnectivity between the “what” and the “how” of storytelling through theatrical writing.
