Summit Street Closure on Sept. 1

On Thursday, September 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Summit Street will be closed between New Britain Avenue and College Terrace to accommodate student move-in.

Vehicles must be removed from Summit Street by September 1 at 7:00 a.m. between New Britain Avenue and College Terrace. This includes parallel parking and the diagonal lots. Any vehicles left on the street during the closures will be towed by the City of Hartford. If your vehicle is towed, please contact the Hartford Police Department at 860-757-4000. Any vehicles parked in the diagonal lots will be towed by Campus Safety. If you vehicle is towed from the diagonal lots, please contact Campus Safety at 860-297-2222.

During the closures, traffic will continue to pass between College Terrace and Allen Place and is expected to be slow going at times. Expect delays.
