Spring 2025 Course: HRTS/AMST 349 Global Migration/Refugee Resettlement Lab

This course provides an experiential-based introduction to refugee and immigrant studies. Students’ weekly work with community-based organizations will be the basis for bi-weekly seminar discussions engaging literature on immigration policy, social integration, and diaspora studies.
Bi-weekly meetings will be organized around student schedules (TBD). Registration requires permission of instructor. Please contact Prof. Shaznene Hussain for more information and to discuss your interests/experiences to secure a specific community placement as soon as possible.
