This course provides an experiential-based introduction to refugee and immigrant studies. Students’ weekly work with community-based organizations will be the basis for @bi-weekly seminar discussions engaging literature on immigration policy, social integration, and diaspora studies.  These meetings will be organized around the schedules of students enrolled in the class. [This course may be counted as part of a new HRST experiential certificate in immigrant/refugee studies.]
